After going through a few unpleasant experiences, where poorly trained beauty technicians used 'micro dermabrasion' to treat my facial wrinkles and hand brown spots with disastrous results, I asked my family doctor about cosmetic skin treatments and she referred me to the McLean Medical Institute. Once I made an appointment, I explained to the doctor what I expected from their treatments, and he patiently explained to me about the nature of my skin conditions, which treatments were the most appropiate and the results I should expect; he was very kind and gentle.
I returned a few days later and then received several micro dermabrasion facial and hand treatments from an experienced doctor, at very reasonable fees, and was very pleased with the results.
I will come back to the McLean Institute in about two weeks for another facial treatment and also, to have my leg veins treated. My best friend is also coming with me for a facial treatment."

"... I was pleasantly surprised when I called to make an appointment at your office and a doctor talked to me on the phone for a few minutes. Two days later, the same doctor examined me and told me about several treatments, their cost, medications, and more. Even when the consult was about half an hour long, I was not charged for it.
I decided to return two weeks later for treatment, after talking to doctors at other clinics in Virginia. I was then treated at the McLean Institute for a few large veins I had on my right leg for several years; all the treatments were quick, without any pain, and did not have to lose any work. "... My husband had several large veins on his right thigh and leg that got worse after a few months of intense workouts with weights at the gym. He did not want to see a doctor even when his dilated veins started to bother him, causing soreness and swelling. He finally saw a doctor who told him that he needed to be admitted to the hospital and have the veins removed, a solution that my husband was not ready for... "... At 27, jogging about twenty-five miles a week and having played soccer and volleyball for nine years, I realized that the dilated veins on the back of both of my knees were getting even larger and starting to throb and bother me after every run and every game I played.

"... I am a full-time personal fitness trainer and have had vein problems on both of my legs for a few years. My mother and my father have leg veins problems and I understand that it is a family-related condition. I am 32 years old and I had an operation to get rid of one of the large veins on my leg about six years ago; it is not an experience that I want to go through again, if I can avoid it.
